Has everyone finally woken up from their tryptophan induced turkey comas? I had such a great weekend reflecting on all of the things that I’m thankful for in my life and all of the great things that have happened this year. I hosted my first Thanksgiving at my new home with my new husband. What more could a girl ask for?
Now that the Thanksgiving turkey mess is out of the way, it’s time to start thinking about Christmas and entertaining. I’ve talked about it before but I absolutely love to entertain. And while my house isn’t giant enough to host large parties, it’s still nice to invite friends and family over during the month of December for some intimate mini-parties to share in the joy of the holiday.
I’ve got a few tasty appetizers coming to you in the next couple of weeks that are perfect for holiday parties, including today’s Sweet Potato and Herbed Ricotta Rounds that I crafted for the Living Litehouse blog. These are super easy to make and full of flavor. They are guaranteed to go quickly at your next holiday gathering!
As if this appetizer recipe isn’t enough to get you excited today, mark your calendars for next week Wednesday because my annual 12 Days of Christmas celebration begins featuring some of my favorite sponsors!
In the mean time, head on over to the Living Litehouse blog for the Sweet Potato and Herbed Ricotta Rounds recipe!
